How it works
Charging
Cold sand flows through our patent pending electric heating system and is heated up to 1200 °C. Hot sand is stored in hot storage container.
Discharging
High energy density hot sand flows through our patent pending heat exchanger. Discharged media can be steam/superheated steam, hot air or hot pressurized water.
